Green-lighting an SME pilot with Inari Jewellery

The pitch

We repackage what we already build for enterprise — the engine behind the Prudential course — into a living knowledge base and people-ops assistant for SMEs, at half the price of Notion. This is not a new platform: it's Mila plus the content engine we already run, packaged downmarket. And the first customer is warm and waiting.

The customer

Eva, owner of Inari Jewellery (8 staff), is actively looking to leave Notion:

She already trusts Mila: first customer-facing on her website, now used daily by her team on a private Discord for summaries and reminders.

The product — Mila 2.0 · V1

1

Living knowledge base. SOPs, handbook and brand guidelines migrated in from Notion. Staff ask Mila in chat and get answers with the source page attached — they stop asking the founder.

2

Leave management. Staff request leave in chat, the owner approves, the balance tracks itself. Replaces the manual table on day one — the people-ops wedge Notion can't match and HR apps are too heavy for.

Roadmap, deliberately not V1: WhatsApp as the interface · freshness flags (policy untouched 3+ months prompts a review, updated in chat) · training layer on our enterprise Read/Watch engine · campaign calendar views.

Why us, why now

The story"Half the price of Notion""Stop paying for empty seats"

Both include a fair-use assistant quota (~100 requests/user/week), keeping the door open to the usage-tier model we've discussed. Inari prices out nearly identical under both — so the decision is which story sells, and the pilot lets Eva react to each.

Back-of-envelope: 50 SMEs at ~RM400/month ≈ RM20k MRR (RM240k ARR) from capability we largely already have.

The ask

Green-light a six-week pilot with Inari Jewellery

Inari joins as our first founding member. The trade, plainly — Inari gets: the six-week pilot free, white-glove migration, and the launch rate locked for her first 12 months. We get: weekly feedback sessions, our SME case study, and a pre-signed agreement to convert to standard pricing once the success criteria are met — Eva starts paying us the day she stops paying Notion. These terms double as the launch offer for the next founding members.

Needed from this meeting ① Yes to the pilot  ·  ② which pricing story leads — A, B, or show both  ·  ③ V1 scope stays assistant + leave only.
